Lara looked like a true vision in blue on her magical day, adorned in our haute couture blue gown. This angelic ensemble boasts an A-line shape, creating the most romantic and elegant silhouette, and features a mixture of muted blue and white tones. Blue is a stunning choice of color for a bride, as it connotes peacefulness and serenity, while resembling the calmness of water. The white lace also contrasts angelically against the pastel blue hues; an ultra feminine and romantic style!
Lara's gown cascades down like a waterfall of beauty and elegance. The dainty and delicate details on the beaded bodice add an extra sparkle every bride needs! This gown is also fitted with an illusion off-the-shoulder neckline, creating the perfect princess aesthetic. An illusion neckline adds an undeniably sensual and alluring touch, while still keeping the look stylish and feminine. Intricate, tiny beadings have also been applied to the gown's skirt; simply enchanting.
We also had the pleasure of creating Lara's bridal veil to complete her dreamy ensemble. The veil style featured a blusher, and a simple, plain design to allow her dazzling dress do the talking. Fitted with a 3 meter length, Lara was most certainly floating down the aisle like a true angel.
Lara and her beloved's wedding day had the most sublime backdrop in Iceland. They celebrated the ceremony in Iceland's famous Catholic Úlfljótsvatn Church, deep in the heart of the snowy mountains, perched on the edge of the lake. This exquisite setting and our graceful blue gown pair beautifully together for a true fairytale aesthetic bursting with romance. There's something so magical and special about having a winter themed wedding!
