The gorgeous Diana from Kirkland, WA, reached out to us in the hopes of attaining her dream colorful wedding gown. She came to us knowing she desired a custom-made nontraditional dress, as she saw our previous works and was captivated.
"I love the look of your non-traditional gowns, and have not seen many that had a section dedicated to it."
Diana had a clear idea of what she wanted her gown to look like and let us know her style preferences. She coveted a red and nude lace gown that boasted drama and elegance at the same time. This allowed us to start sketching and designing the concept of her dress which is always the most exciting part of creating a custom gown! Our custom process always begins with an initial sketch of the concept, which our client then revises, and changes are made if necessary. We want to make sure everything is perfect for our brides!
We absolutely adore how Diana's gown turned out! The dress boasts a chic and timeless mermaid silhouette that looks unbelievably flattering and feminine. Diana's dress was also made with a Queen Anne neckline, which is a truly effortlessly romantic style that looks beautiful for any occasion. The short cap-style sleeves keep the look classy and sophisticated and don't overpower the gown. The back of the gown features a stylish illusion keyhole back, adding to the modern aesthetic.
The gown features stunning custom embroidery that looks ultra-unique and fabulous. The embroidery alone took six months to perfect, as we sketched out the custom lace design beforehand, and then after creating some mock-up designs, we mailed them to Diana for her approval before production. This truly is a dress like no other! It took almost a year, from start to finish, to design and make this one-of-a-kind gown. Diana was over the moon with her bespoke piece and even ordered a detachable overskirt in royal length and a veil to match, as she loved the idea of having a versatile look on her wedding day. Our brides deserve the very best, and we believe our custom service delivers just that.
Diana looked absolutely stunning on her special day, adorned in her custom-made wedding dress! The colors looked radiant and whimsy in the summertime. We wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness and love.
